Are we alone?

I think it's so self centered to think that humans are the only intelligent life out there.  The universe is so vast, humans are like ants on a bread crumb compared to the star betelguese alone... has anyone seen how big that star is? We live in our own little world in our own little box. We never open our windows to look outside and see that there is so much more out there. We imprison ourselves in our thoughts and own beliefs. I think it's ignorant to think that we are alone in the universe. There are so many stars and planets that hasn't been discovered simply because they're light years away. The thought of the universe is mind blowing
