Why I rather not talk to girls on the street

I can honestly say that I never approached a female on the street. It's not that I'm shy or anything, it's just that I feel they get enough attention from the young and thirsty. I feel if I tried to talk to a girl on the street, I would be categorized as every other lame. I  was never the one to throw myself out there anyway.
